Ethereum L1 Transactions Reach 2.2M with Average Cost of $0.17

According to reports, Ethereum Layer 1 (L1) transactions have reached 2.2 million in a single day. The average cost per transaction was approximately 17 cents. Transaction costs on the Ethereum network have decreased since May 2022, when fees averaged over $200 per transaction. The development marks a change in transaction costs on the Ethereum blockchain.
